My wife, Mollie, and I recently celebrated with one of SENT Network’s church plants – Veritas City Church. Veritas, led by Greg Gibson, celebrated its opening day in their new location in downtown Georgetown / D.C. Veritas was meeting initially as a new church plant across the Key Bridge and outside Georgetown proper until they could make the move into a space in the heart of this strategic location. Greg and his team have sacrificed and worked countless hours raising funds, planning, and renovating their new space. It was a great day to celebrate God’s provision and this move “across the bridge.”
People are meeting Jesus and being discipled to live on mission in their daily lives through Veritas City Church. Building bridges for the gospel, that made the sacrifice and move across the bridge into Georgetown worth it.
