MERCY TOWN

Posted on: November 12, 2018

After Derrick Parks learned that Wilmington, DE had been dubbed “Murder Town USA” by Newsweek*, he decided to relocate his family there with a vision to plant a church there called Epiphany Church. Since then, he boldly renamed the city “Mercy Town” and their church launched last Spring.

Derrick and his young church plant offer mercy to their city by building relationships, serving the tangible needs of people, and by proclaiming the good news one to one and during their worship gatherings. Praise God for the six individuals who publicly professed faith in Jesus last Sunday during a baptism service at Epiphany Church.

Thank you for your generous partnership with SENT Network that enables us to provide grant money, training, and coaching for church planters like Derrick who bring the mercy and good news of Jesus to their cities.

For the gospel,
