DIVERSITY AND PLANTING

Posted on: December 7, 2017

Dear friends of SENT Network,

I was excited to give an update recently to Bay Area Community Church in Annapolis, MD. I shared that God is raising up a diverse group of church planters in our Network – Anglos, African-Americans, Asian-Americans, ethnic Ethiopians, and others.

My heart overflowed with joy that morning as Jorge Solorzano baptized people during the worship gathering. I rejoiced for a couple reasons. First, people whose lives are being changed by the gospel of grace are publically identifying with Jesus in baptism. Second, Jorge led this baptism service as part of a church planter in residency program. Jorge is preparing to plant SENT’s first bi-lingual Hispanic church, after his residency with Bay Area Community Church is complete!

SENT is thrilled to partner with local churches. Together we are equipping church planters to be sent out to make disciples of Jesus among diverse subcultures in our cities.

Thank you for your generous partnership in this strategic mission!

For the gospel,
Mark McGeever
