City of Bridges

Posted on: July 12, 2022

Did you know that a study in 2006 revealed that Pittsburgh, PA has 446 bridges? More bridges than any other city in the world.1 Hence the nickname – City of Bridges. Like a bridge connects two separate sides of land, gospel-centered churches connect lost people to God through Jesus Christ. That’s why TIMES12 is committed to planting more churches that proclaim the gospel in cities, including Pittsburgh, and the surrounding area.

With that vision in mind, I’m thrilled to announce that Justin Dosch will become the Pittsburgh Area Director for TIMES12. Justin was an experienced pastor before he stepped out to plant True North Church several years ago in partnership with TIMES12. True North is healthy and thriving in its short history. Justin will continue his primary focus as Lead Pastor of True North, but now he will also serve part-time as Area Director for our Pittsburgh hub to help catalyze more church plants in that area.

Please pray for Justin, Autumn, their family, and True North as Justin stewards this new responsibility. Also, pray that God will provide laborers we can equip to spearhead gospel-centered churches that will connect people with God through Jesus in the City of Bridges and beyond.

Thank you for faithfully giving so that TIMES12 can expand to raise up more Jesus-centered bridges.

With appreciation,
Mark

Mark McGeever
Executive Director
