As we approach Christmas and remember how the birth of Christ went relatively unnoticed at the time, I thought I’d take a moment to recognize a few special individuals on our TIMES12 team who serve in relatively unnoticed ways but are extremely significant.
Lindsey Hall is the Finance and Operations Director for TIMES12 who serves our mission in sometimes unseen, but significant ways. Lindsey works diligently, humbly, and skillfully to ensure that our finances and donations are managed honorably in the sight of God and others – squeaky clean. As a member of our Leadership Team, Lindsey spearheads a multitude of projects to help us continuously improve and keep pace with the expansion we are experiencing in sustainable ways. Lindsey is assisted by Becca Kilpatrick and Michele Gish who also exhibit humility and selfless service as they tackle a myriad of administrative tasks well, with great attitudes. As Executive Director of TIMES12, I can genuinely say that we would not be functioning with our level of excellence without Lindsey and her team. On behalf of TIMES12 and the many lives being reached with the gospel and equipped for mission, thank you Lindsey, Becca, and Michele for exemplifying selfless service that points us to Jesus!
“Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:5-11)
During this Christmas season let’s remember to honor Jesus, the ultimate unsung hero, who was born and died for us in humility, resulting in everlasting victory!
