Friends of TIMES12,
Last month, church planters and pastors from across our network gathered in Cambridge, Maryland, for our annual Lead Planter/Lead Pastor Retreat.
For a few intentional days, these men stepped away from the constant demands of ministry and entered into a space designed for renewal and refreshment, to be reminded again that before they are leaders, they are first beloved sons of God.
This year’s retreat was especially meaningful as we recently introduced Matt Carter as the incoming Executive Director of TIMES12. Matt served as our keynote speaker, encouraging the men toward deeper intimacy with Jesus as he taught Scripture and shared his journey in ministry.
Together, the group spent time in worship, fellowship, teaching, and prayer, inviting God into the deepest places of their hearts and allowing him to search, shape, and strengthen them. Men serving in different cities, cultures, and ministry contexts across the U.S. came together carrying different burdens, yet united by the same need: to hear from the Lord and be refreshed by his Spirit.
We are continually reminded that caring for pastors and church planters matters deeply. Healthy leaders strengthen healthy churches to impact the lost, and faithful encouragement has a lasting ripple effect far beyond a single retreat.
Your partnership directly impacts our ability to provide a space where these leaders could rest, reconnect with one another, and return home renewed for the work ahead, and for that, we are so grateful.
Thank you for investing in leaders who are investing in the multiplication of disciples and churches centered on Jesus.
With gratitude,
The TIMES12 Team
