In our last newsletter, you received an update about SENT Network’s 2019 Vision Dinner, which recognized the incredible gospel work God has accomplished through the Network’s many plants and partnerships over the last year. (Click here to read the Vision Update.)
We now pause to highlight one of our newest church partners celebrated at the recent Vision Dinner, Ocean View (OV) Church of Norfolk, VA. OV Church is led by Senior Pastor Aaron Dininny, who has served in this role since 2012. OV Church believes that “…the gospel informs, controls, and energizes all we do.” Their vision is three-fold, focusing on gospel centrality, disciple-making groups, and going out to plant churches who share the same gospel focus. Their vision and ours align really well.
OV Church and SENT are now collaborating to plant Little Creek (LC) Church, in the East Little Creek corridor of Norfolk. Caleb Dininny (brother of Aaron) has gathered a core planting team and is now spearheading the LC Church plant with the encouragement of both our Network and his sending church.
SENT Network is privileged to partner with sending churches like Ocean View and new church plants like Little Creek. Join us in praying for these churches as we come alongside them to help with assessments, coaching, training, giving, and regional collectives with fellow pastors who share our commitment to multiply gospel-centered churches. CALEB DININNY IS THE LOCAL LEAD PASTOR OF OV’S NEWEST CHURCH PLANT, LITTLE CREEK CHURCH. CALEB AND HIS WIFE JAYLA HAVE THREE DAUGHTERS.
