Instead of having a “normal” service, we spent the morning actively serving others. We prepared and delivered food to the Crofton Fire Department, a Rehabilitation Center, and donuts were delivered to some places of business in the Waugh Chapel Shopping Center. They were also given a letter letting them know that we were there to serve them in any way we might be needed. We served breakfast for the Staff at the Regal Cinema Theater where we meet each Sunday and we had a team that cleaned the seats/cup holders in the theater and a group that picked up trash in the neighborhood. We gathered back at the Regal Theater to share some of our experiences and how the business places responded. The RLC children were a part of the Serving Day and it was an absolute delight to hear some of them share the things they experienced. Excitement was the theme of the day!
